Join Us in Expanding Our Horizon: Support Little Sun People's New Afterschool Program
Since 1981, Little Sun People has stood as a beacon of hope and education in our community, offering a nurturing early childhood center that has enriched the lives of children aged 2 to 5 years.
In 1995, we broadened our horizon by introducing a School-Age Afterschool Program and a summer camp for children aged 5-9 years, further embedding our roots into the fabric of our community. However, the unforeseen challenges brought by the pandemic in March 2020 led us to suspend this vital service. Today, we stand on the precipice of a new chapter and are thrilled to announce our plans to not only reopen our School-Age Afterschool Program but also launch our first elementary school classroom. This expansion will occupy the newly acquired 5,000 square feet of space on the fourth floor of our site at 352 Classon Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11238.
Our vision for this space is not just to reopen doors but to transform them into gateways of opportunity, learning, and growth for our children. We envision a place that mirrors the greatness we see in each child—a place that radiates warmth, innovation, and the joy of learning. To achieve this, we are embarking on an upgrade and refurbishment project to ensure our facilities reflect the excellence and aspirations of our program and its participants.
